If you haven’t already read our last blog on SEO strategies for 2019, we’d encourage you tocheck it out. It lays the groundwork for your company to start having success in utilizinginbound marketingtechniques. With that said, this is Help Google Help You Part 2.
Step 5: Blog Every Week
Remember to take the time to blog every week. If you want to know more about why this is important and the stats regarding the benefits of blogging, check out our post here. Remember that you’re writing for your audience, and not for Google. Over time, as people start to notice and appreciate your writing, your audience will start to grow and so will your google ranking.
Step 6: Link-Building
Link building is an SEO necessity. The goal is to try and attract inbound links (aka backlinks) so that other websites link back to you. When other reputable sites link back to you, Google sees this and considers your content important, and therefore ranks it higher.
Remember to share your blog posts on social media as well, if you recall from our posts regardinginbound marketing:
Networks such as LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter can be directly oriented to your market niche so social networks are ideal places to make the potential customer notice the content and expertise of your brand.
The more you and your content are recognized by other influencers, the more potential you have for that content being shared.
Step 7: SEO Trends
The search engine space is always evolving so it can be hard to stay on top of all the SEO trends. However, there are tons of resources online that you can utilize to stay on to top of those trends. Here is a short list to get you started:
- Hubspot.com
- Moz.com
- SearchEngineLand.com
Step 8: Measure the Metrics
All this work you’re doing takes time and effort, so how do you know if you’re seeing success? You will need some sort of measurement! There are tons of metrics that you can measure daily, weekly or monthly, andSEMrushis a great reporting tool for just this purpose! Also, keeping track of, leads, ROI, inbound links, keywords, and your actual ranking on Google will encourage you as you see the fruits of your labor.
We hope that this 2 part series has put your business on the path to seeing success in your inbound endeavors. As always, if you need any help Bwired is there for you!!
