OVERVIEW

We value inclusiveness and diversity, and we welcome people of all skill levels and backgrounds to apply for positions within our organization.

For applications from persons with disabilities, we will actively seek to make any reasonable adjustments to our hiring process in order to adapt it to the needs of a specific individual and ensure fairness and equity.

THE APPLICATION PROCESS

Before you submit your application, please read the job posting carefully to ensure you possess the relevant skills and experience, as only qualified applicants will be considered. You are welcome to apply for more than one position at a time if multiple positions match your qualifications and interests.

Applying

When you apply, you will need to provide us with an accurate and current version of your C.V. You will also be required to send us a cover letter to help us get to know you better as well as your salary expectations to see if you fall under the range for the position you are applying for.

Once you submit your application, you will receive an email only if you are short-listed for a position. We will contact you to move forward to the next step.

The interview process

If you are selected for an interview, we’ll contact you directly to set it up. Most positions require a minimum of three interviews: an initial interview with a member of the recruitment team, a second interview with a member of our technical staff and a third interview with the hiring managers.

The interview process can vary depending on the opportunity available, but we will always inform you ahead of time so you’ll know what’s coming next and have time to prepare.

First Interview

Objective: the first interview will consist of a series of questions aimed to test your soft skills. Our attempt is to get to know you better and go through your C.V. more in detail. The questions we ask are not very technical and are meant to understand your expectations, future goals, knowledge and experience on the job in questions.

Expectations – We expect you to be frank, honest and personable. We expect you to tell us what intrigued you to apply for the job, how you have worked on similar positions in the past and how you think you will contribute within our company.

We will also set expectations for the second interview and the next steps in the process as well as the topics that will be covered in the second interview.

Second Interview

Objectives: The second interview is aimed to challenge your understanding and knowledge regarding the specific information contained in the job description.

Important: Usually a member of our technical staff will be present in this process and you may need to complete a short but specific written assessment in the form of a test.

Expectations – We expect you to have sufficient technical knowledge on the functions you will be performing on the role you are applying for. Although there will be a minimum passing grade, we will look at the quality of your answers and your honesty when not understanding aspects of the test.

Third Interview

Objectives: Typically, the third and final interview will be with the hiring and financial managers. This is an opportunity for you to discuss your potential career path at Bwired in greater detail and see how it fits into the company’s vision.

Expectations: We expect you and us to be content and come to a decision together on your future in our company. If you have already made it to this far, we are confident that you will perform well in your role but we still need to address the details before you are hired.

The job offer

If you’re the strongest applicant for the position, we’ll conduct criminal and reference checks the position requires. Upon successful completion of these checks, we’ll make you an offer whether, of employment or in a contract basis.

Some positions may require us to conduct additional verifications or testing prior to your start date. If that’s the case, we’ll let you know about these requirements ahead of time.

ORIENTATION

We recognize that accepting a new job is a big step, and we’re available to answer any questions you may have prior to starting your first day at work. We’ll also provide you with access to pre-boarding documentation where you can find additional information about Bwired and your new position, and receive guidance in preparing for a successful transition.

Starting on your first day, you’ll participate in an orientation immersion program where you’ll connect with our employees to learn how Bwired is redefining technology.
